Is ClassDojo free for our program?
Yes. ClassDojo is free for your center, your staff, and your families, across early childhood, camp and after school. ClassDojo offers optional services directly to families, like ClassDojo Plus and Dojo Tutor, and that is what keeps it free for everyone else. We never sell personal information, and we never share it with advertisers.

Which age groups does ClassDojo work for?
JCCs use ClassDojo across the whole building, from infant and toddler rooms through day camp and teen programs. Staff choose what each group sees, so a camp bunk and a preschool room feel different.

How do our staff get set up?
Each staff member creates an account and sets up their group in a few minutes — no IT project, no training day.

How do families join?
Staff share an invite link or code, and families connect from the free app on their phone. Many families already use ClassDojo with their child's school, so there's often nothing new to download at all.

How is our program's data protected?
Your program's information belongs to your program. ClassDojo is COPPA-compliant, never sells personal information, and never shares it with advertisers — see our privacy and security page for the full detail.

Can directors see what staff share with families?

Can we use it for camp season only?
Yes. Plenty of centers start with day camp, because that is when families most want photos and reminders, then keep it going into the school year. Nothing expires and there is nothing to cancel.
